Over 95% of the members of BFA's Class of 2007 have been admitted to a four year University. BFA admits students through a random lottery to participate in a small supportive academic environment. We believe that education results in freedom and that learning by serving is essential to growth. The Class of 2007 is the inaugural class.

After four long years of being members of the founding class of the Baltimore Freedom Academy. Members of the Class of 2007 were able to show how hard work and determination pays off in the end when students take advantage of opportunities provided to them.

On Sunday, June 3, 2007 seniors at the Baltimore Freedom Academy participated in graduation exercises at Morgan State University. The keynote speaker was Mayor Sheila Dixon. Students, families, faculty and community shared in the memorial day.
