Description:

Reports to the Executive Director
Baltimore Clayworks, a vibrant arts non-profit located in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of Baltimore City has an immediate opening for a financial manager for its day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have great financial management skills, be a people person, appreciate the arts, be organized, very accurate and careful with attention to details. He/she will enjoy being part of a creative atmosphere and an integral part of an established and well-functioning staff team. Non-profit financial experience is a plus. This position shares financial management responsibility with a two day per week accounts payable employee. The organization has an operating budget of $1.3 M and operates an array of artistic and educational programs.

Qualifications:

Candidate needs some formal training in accounting, excellent references and the ability to work well with others. Candidate must be very proficient in QuickBooks w/Class accounting
EFTPS, B-File (MD Withhold/Sales & Use Tax)
Microsoft Excel, Outlook, general computer skills
Prior not-for-profit accounting is a plus.
