Linda Trope

Linda is a Weinberg Fellow from the class of 2009

I have served as the Executive Director of the Myerberg Senior Center for 6 years and as Executive Director of various religious instituions for 20 years. I was also a practicing craftsperson for over 10 years, exhibiting at the American Crafts Council shows during the 1970's. I continue to have a lifelong interest in art and am currently experimenting with 2 dimensional surfaces using new techniques and materials. I hold a BA in Human Development from the University of Chicago and an MA in Art from California State University, Los Angeles. I have two grown children and two granddaughters, ages 2 and 3 months.

The Myerberg Center provides a stimulating, supportive and welcoming environment for mature adults, age 55+, offering a broad range of activities and programs that address intellectual, social, emotional, physical and recreational needs and interests.

Edward A. Myerberg Senior Center programming includes advocacy, disability, domestic violence, education, food programs, health, housing, legal services, mental health, services for seniors, and recreation and wellness programming for mature adults.
