Grace Lee
Grace is a Weinberg Fellow from the class of 2008
Grace Lee, the Executive Director of Maryland New Directions, Inc. (MND), has been working at the non-profit sectors for over 12 years. She has joined Maryland New Directions since 1999 with 8 years experience in direct services and program management. She has been the Program Director at MND for four years prior to be elected by the MND Board as the Executive Director in 2007. She is a Maryland state certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Maryland New Directions, Inc. (MND) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization. Established in 1973, MND’s mission is to provide clients with the skills and confidence they need to navigate life-stage transitions, to empower them to discover and reach their full employment potential and to guide and support them along the way through individual career counseling, skill training, job coach, job search assistance, and post-employment support.

Services offered:
Career Discovery
A program that promotes self-sufficiency by helping single heads of household to discover their career potential and find employment
Second Chance
A comprehensive employment program for previously incarcerated by helping them to deal with their barriers to employment and identify career paths and employment opportunities leading to full-time, self-sustaining employment
Career Focus
Provide professional career counseling and job search tools to people in transition for successful entry into satisfying and self-sustaining employment, a fee-for-service program.
Maryland New Directions programming includes education, job training, mentoring, and career and life management counseling.
